"At Sydney, I made an entirely new course for the New South Wales Golf Club at a place called La Perouse. This is a sand-duned peninsula which overlooks Botany Bay and presents, I think, more spectacular views than any other place I know..."
Alister MacKenzie

Club description

The NSW Golf Course is rated in the top 50 golf courses in the world. In fact, it is the only Sydney course rated in the top 100 best golf courses listing. The character of the course is unique, a links style course set amongst the hills and valleys that hug the rugged Pacific Ocean coastline boasting magnificent ocean views as backdrop. Few layouts can offer such a diverse range of challenges over the course of a single round; even fewer can change so dramatically according to the vagaries of the weather.

Location: La Perouse, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Year founded: 1928
Courses: New South Wales, 6323 meters
Architect: Alister MacKenzie (1928), Eric Apperly (1937), Jack Newton (1985), Greg Norman (2004)

Signature Holes

Hole #5 - 468 meters par 5

A blind hole. Aim for the ridge 230 metres away from the tee. There is not much fairway left to land the second shot, so accuracy is the key here. The green slopes to the back with 2 sandtraps left and front right.

Hole #6 - 177 meters par 3

A Breathtaking Hole with views of the ocean. Avoid the gradient left of the green as well as the bunkers left and right.
